TOUCHSCREEN PPE's RMX Series Touchscreen Hot Runner Control is a microprocessor-based, single zone
temperature controller specifically designed for runnerless molding applications. It features an
CONTROL easy to use touchscreen display that simultaneously shows process and set point values, °F
®
or °C, percent output, current output, alarm, manual/closed loop mode and CompuStep . The
menu system allows for simple adjustments to all parameters with just a few soft button pushes.
Units have built-in diagnostics and are fully self-tuning. RMX modules are compatible with
communication mainframes.
RMB modules provide fully self-tuning, line voltage compensating, automatic closed-loop
temperature control over a wide range of operating conditions. A single chip microprocessor
performs all the proportional, integral and derivative (PID) control functions required to maintain
setpoint temperature, through an advanced auto-tune process. No operator calculations or
presetting of values is needed.
