1-1/4" TYPE-N
POST TERMINALS
Post terminals provide a convenient way to
attach ring wire lugs or fork connectors and
are often used to hook up multiple heaters
in platens. The studs are 6-32 and come
5/8" with nuts and washers. Post terminals are
only available on 5/8" and 3/4" dia heaters.

TYPE-P

POTTED LEADS
Cement potting or high temperature silicone rubber RTV or
epoxy potting can be used to seal the lead end of the heater
to provide an effective moisture barrier. Silicone rubber
sealant is rated to 400°F (204°C) and epoxy to 250°F (121°C)
TYPE PP = Cement Potting
POTTING TYPE PE = Epoxy Potting

TYPE PV = RTV Silicone Rubber Potting

TYPE-D
DISTRIBUTED WATTAGE
Distributed wattage allows use of higher
watt densities on one or both ends of the
heater. Distributed wattage is available
in all diameters.

CENTER TYPE
Ungrounded = T3
}specify INTERNAL THERMOCOUPLES
Grounded = T4
TYPE J OR TYPE K
Internal T.C.'s can be supplied in all
diameters of cartridge heaters. The junc-
tion can be made in the center or the end
of the heater sheath. Unless noted both
TIP TYPE
T.C. and heater leads will be the same
Ungrounded = T1 length. Please specify: Type J or Type K,
}specify
Grounded = T2 Grounded or Ungrounded and location, tip
or center. (most T.C.'s are grounded)
