TYPE-S

SWAGED-IN LEADS
Swaged-in leads are standard on all PPE Cartridge
Heaters. TGGT lead wire is stranded for greater
flexibility and longer lead life. Lead connection extends
deep into a ceramic header to prevent shorting.
Temperature range 1/4" dia. 450°C/850°F, larger
diameters 550°C/1022°F. Higher temperature leads
quoted on request.
TYPE-M

CRIMPED-ON LEADS
Leads are crimped to solid nickel
pins that exit the heater and are
covered with fiberglass sleeving for
electrical insulation.

TYPE-R

SWAGED-IN RIGHT ANGLE LEADS
Right angle leads exit out the side of the heater sheath.
Leads are TGGT swaged-in with a protective boot for extra
insulation.

TYPE-T

PTFE SEAL
A PTFE seal is used to form an effective
seal against moisture or fluids. A 1" long
unheated section is required to keep the
PTFE seal temperature below 400°F.
