Standard Clear Cast Acrylic is a pellet/flake Non-
Abrasive purge compound that is designed to soften CAST ACRYLIC
but not melt- delivering a slightly tacky cleansing SOFTENS & CLEANS
effect that scrubs the screw and barrel. Combined
with a proprietary additive that attacks carbon build BUT WON’T MELT
up and color contamination. No mixing or blending
is required. It is formulated to purge all types of TEMPERATURE RANGE
thermoplastics including nylons, polycarbonates, 350° to 550°F Max.
polyesters, thermoplastic elastomers and most (177° to 288°C)
engineered materials.

Super-Scrub Acrylic/Polymer is a Hybrid Non-
Abrasive purge compound that is designed to soften
but not melt- delivering a slightly tacky cleansing
effect that scrubs the screw and barrel- along with
a modified polypropylene polymer that increases
the coefficient of friction causing more “drag” on the
purge as it travels the screw and barrel. It is
combined with a proprietary additive that attacks
carbon build up and color contamination. No mixing
or blending is required.

Before using PPE Clear
Acrylic Purging Compounds:

A. Not for use on Hot Runner Systems!
B. Nozzle orifice must be 3/16” diameter or
larger or nozzle must be removed.

C. Remove any other small opening flow
restrictions.
