APPLICATION
PM-Type Plate Magnets are designed for use in gravity-fed angled and vertical chutes which convey low to medium volume
product streams. Typical applications are in below the flow installations where the product flows over the magnetic face, providing
optimum ferrous tramp metal retention in a wide variety of chute applications. PMS-Type Plate Magnets are designed to be
suspended above the product stream.

OPERATION INCREASED FIELD DEPTH
PM-Type magnetic pole face consists of two stainless steel poles
with a 1” air gap for increased holding value, minimizing tramp .125” (3MM)
metal “wash-off”. PM-Type Plate Magnets are easily installed, STAINLESS STEEL THICK
and the hinged mounting design permits quick, easy cleaning of HEAVY-DUTY HINGE STAINLESS
STEEL
the magnet surface. The strong magnetic field is effective in POLE AREAS
product streams up to 2” deep. (PM-TYPE)

• 100% 304 Stainless Steel enclosed design.
• PM-Type have Heavy-Duty hinges and latches for simple
installation and easy maintenance. PMS-Type are drilled A = Overall Length
& tapped with eye bolts at the corners for suspension.** E B = Magnet Length
• 1” wide uniform sealing flange to prevent product leakage. D C = Thickness
• Waterproof, weather-resistant enclosure. CHUTE C D = Chute Width
