PPE Precision Screw Flight Micrometers are retrofitted
with a hardened steel anvil bar. The bar thickness has
been calculated into the readout scale so the user
gets a true reading without having to subtract the anvil
bar thickness. The anvil bar is designed to span across
two flights when measuring. PPE Flight Micrometers
are available in two designs. The low cost standard
thimble and sleeve model and the digital readout
model which is more costly but is more simple to read.
Choose the flight micrometer that fits your budget and
your use requirements.
