Han 32 B vs. Epic HB32. What’s the difference?
®

Han 32 B Epic HB32
While all other sizes and brands of connectors are similar
®
enough to be compatible, the Han 32B and Epic HB32
®
are not. The clamping lever and lug spacing are the issue.
Han 32B (and most other brands) use 48.5mm spacing,
®
while Epic HB32 uses 64.5mm spacing. We recommend
®
caution because in some cases the clamping levers can
be forced and will appear to engage, but a secure
connection cannot be made.
While the hoods and housings are not compatible, the
inserts for the Han 32B and Epic HB32 are completely
®
®
®
interchangeable. The Epic HB32 are used on PPE’s 5 &
6 Zone 30 Amp hot runner mainframes, and the
corresponding cables and connectors.
