PPE Fiberglass Sleeving is a braided heat treated 800°F
sleeving utilizing continuous filament E glass. It resists
fraying and is ideal for high temperature protection of
heater lead wires because it does not contain varnish or
impregnants. It is unaffected for continuous service IMPROVED
temperatures of 500°F and loses only a small percentage
of tensile strength at 700 to 800°F. It will, however,
withstand temperatures to 1,000°F and melt at 1,395°F.
When ordering we suggest you select a sleeving size
larger than your wire size to simplify inserting wire.
